Very Strange
Yesterday Dan brought in a notice that was on our gate (at least I’m assuming that’s where it was):
FINAL NOTICE
T-Mobile has provided you information about a planned construction project in your neighborhood. This project will deliver enhancements to your telecommunications network and will require additional equipment in the public “Right of Way”.
Construction to being in 2 days: 10/27/08
We encourage you to call T-Mobile with any questions or comments.
(925) XXX-XXXX

(I’m leaving out the phone number just in case.)
Well … I called, which was, perhaps, a stupid thing to do. I wonder. I got nothing. No ring, nothing.
Not only that, but if this is the FINAL notice, where was another? We never received anything. And 2 days from yesterday would not be 10/27/08 either. And why would they have us call a number outside of our area code?
Sigh.
I just called the 888 number for T-Mobile. The woman took down all the information, but couldn’t really help me. She said she hoped someone else would have an answer for me. Meanwhile I just wonder what the heck this is. Can someone do some sort of scam if you call a bogus number? Is that possible? Or am I worrying about nothing?
I do hope to hear from T-Mobile, but of course if it wasn’t them they probably won’t really care.
