Monday I didn’t do much of anything. I did teach one student, the others having canceled.
Tuesday I taught one student at SCU, and one at home, the other having canceled due to illness. And I didn’t do much of anything. But I did have to sample a bottle of champagne for the wedding and I had to watch the Giants win a game.
Today I visited with my mom (Hi Mom! That was fun!). My students both canceled. And now I’m again having to sample a bottle of champagne and watch a Giants game.
If this keeps up I’m really going to exhaust myself, you know?
Oh … and I’ve eaten some chocolate too. That was rough.
Okay, okay, I have done laundry and vacuumed. I did some banking, too. And filled out the application for Jameson’s apartment for the next school year. I’ve done a few things. Just not a whole lot, and not one rehearsal or performance.

I’m always shocked by rude telemarketers. What do they think the rudeness will get them? Do they think I’ll change my mind?
Today I got a call from Hilton Hotels. I recently stayed there when visiting Kelsey and Mel, and so I know I’m on their “list” and they are, I guess, allowed to call me because we have a “relationship” even though I’m on a do not call list. In any case, the guy was trying to sell me some sort of discount vacation. I told him he could send he information in the mail if he wanted, but that I didn’t want to talk to him on the phone. He said, “Well, you can look online as I talk to you about this. I’ll give you the URL.” I said, “No, and I really don’t like to talk on the phone.” He said, “You order pizza delivery, don’t you?”
HUH?
I said, “Excuse me?” to which he replied, “you order pizza delivery on the phone, don’t you? So you can use a phone.” I suggested, very plainly, that he was being rude. He then said, “I’m not being rude. I’m just asking you a question.” I wished him a lovely day and hung up.
All he accomplished by his call was to alienate me, and cause me to attempt to email Hilton Hotels. (So far the email has failed to be delivered.)
I’m always puzzled by these callers. By being rude they have only convinced me to dislike these calls even more than I did. And of course it does sour me against Hilton. I can’t help it; they are paying this guy to be rude to me, whether they admit it or not!
Oh well. I suppose it’s silly to even be bothered by it. But I am.

Kelsey posted the link at her facebook page, so I guess I can post the engagement session link too. Enjoy!
Aren’t they CUTE?!

So that stimulus check that everyone seems to be getting sure hasn’t arrived here. Perhaps they think I’m over-stimulated already. I assure you I’m not. And the check is actually going toward the extra tax payment we had to make due to a miscalculation on my part. Sigh.
So where is the $$? Huh?
In other news, the engagement session for Mel & Kelsey has been put online, but I don’t want to put a link here until I see that Kelsey has … I don’t want to be the first to spill the beans, so to speak.
But they sure are cute! :-)

It’s 3:27 AM and I am awake. I’ve been awake much of the night/morning. This hasn’t happened in a long time, so I suppose I shouldn’t be annoyed.
But I am.
I’m guessing I shouldn’t have had the chocolate around 8:00. And the Giants losing (again) maybe could be blamed. But I just can’t fall asleep.
And I have Beauty and the Beast tunes running through my head.

I could swear that Charlie Rose just said “reconize”.
And I think his suit looks funny.
This is new, my friends, you can use. Run with it.

I am just too tired to breathe.
Well. Nearly.

Kelsey and Mel are having their engagement photo session today. I’m quite excited! Their photographer has a blog and she is also on flickr (Hmmm. Is one “on” flickr?), so you can see a lot of her work there. I think she’s really great!
(And with photoshop I’m sure she can even make me look decent. At least from the back. ;-)

When one wears glasses one doesn’t necessarily see how filthy her shower is.
This is sometimes frequently always a problem.
