Hmmm

“The goat, which has been the regiment’s mascot since 2001, was supposed to be leading the march, but would not stay in line,” said Coates. “He was reported for subordination and after consideration, the commanding officer decided he had no option but to demote Billy.”

Um. Okay. So this poor animal gets demoted. But what if his trainer was bad? What if it was something else?

I’m guessing they are using him as a scapegoat.

… yeah … that was bad. But I’m really not sorry. Article here.

Today I play at church. It’s been years. I still get nervous when I play things like this. Is that stupid or what?

I’ve gone through a ton of my books now, entering them into the Delicious Monster program I purchased. It’s quite cool, and I’m finding out that some of my poetry books aren’t losing worth as much as most other books. (A lot of paperback books are given $.01 as their value now.) After I enter my books all but fiction are going into storage until I get my oboe studio ready. Then I’m going to have to purchase a pretty good sized bookcase. I refuse to continue doing what I’ve been doing; I’ve had all sorts of small bookcases that don’t match, and I have two layers of books on each shelf for the most part. I want the studio to be a nice place, so if I have to take my time getting it finished I will. I can be patient. Sometimes.
