Alive and Ticking …

but mostly writing at the oboe site.

Right now I’m in my hotel room, wondering what is making so much noise outside. Maybe it’s just the freeway. Hmmm.

I’m here in Irvine (well, Santa Ana for the hotel); I drove Kelsey down and we will spend tomorrow together, completing the visit with a dinner out which will include Mel as well. But today, after a VERY LONG DRIVE, I spent the evening on my own. Mostly relaxing in my nice little room.

I’m also thinking of the “Coffee and Fudge” shop I spotted, directly across the way from my hotel! Nummy. Sounds like breakfast to me. ;-)

Saturday is for College Football

There is a professional football game on TV right now. It is Saturday. As I said to Dan and Jameson, “That’s kind of invasion of college space and time,” to which Dan replied, “An invasion of college space and time.” I think maybe he was (very slightly) mocking his wife. Could that be?

But yes. Yes said that. Yes, I mean it. So there. ;-)

Too Much Fun!

A game that is just perfect for wasting time!

Why?

Why is Macy’s “our one & only ONE DAY SALE of the season” (their caps) on Friday and Saturday?

What Were They Thinking?

A Cold-Eze ad shows a woman looking miserable because she has a cold. You hear a saw and her head is sawed in half. After they say something, you then see a young girl looking miserable. Then a scissors appears and cuts her head in half. (What they say is something about Cold-Eze cutting colds in half.)

Um. It all looks awful to me … and I wonder if they intended to creep viewers out a bit. Odd.

And yes, I’m still alive and I’m still here—sort of! I don’t post often because I’m just more interested in my oboe site. But life is fine. I’m tired, but alive!
